Grayshott School opened on September 29th 1871 with a ruling that a logbook should be kept of School activities.
The following extracts, hand written are from the first logbook. The first two are annual reports, followed by five other entries that were made almost on a daily basis.
The extracts include fascinating information both on the school and the social atmosphere of the time.
All the logbooks along with School Registration Books are stored at the Surrey History Centre, Woking, Surrey, but these and other extracts may be found in the Grayshott Village Archive Folder Number 172 held in the Village Hall.
